About

Contrarium is my personal website with varied content. It does have a blog, but for more updated stuff you may want to check my Substack page, or the Videos page, which have more recent content.

I also publish a literature and art magazine called Geist. We published six numbers so far. You can read all the previous numbers for free on pdf here on the website, or buy a print copy at the online shop.

Our name means “Contrary” in Latin and it represents our idea of going against the mainstream and current established ideas, and also a return to the most beautiful traditions of the past.

The image in our logo is a happy malacomorph or snail-cat, taken from the illuminated manuscript Horae ad Usum Parisiensem from the last quarter of 15th century, located in the National Library of France.

That’s all, folks.
